The Paladin class is a Tier 2 class, which is currently the highest tier class for Savage Realms. The Paladin is a very defensive class, using a multitude of heals (both self and other) and other protective abilities to keep themselves and their allies alive while in combat.
Class Note: The Paladin is restricted to gold armor and gold weapons.
Class Note: While wearing gold armor, the durability and damage reduction of the armor is greatly increased, nearing that of Diamond Armor.
Class Note: The Paladin can cycle between their spells/abilities with a Golden Shovel.
Class Note: You can bind your spells to an item by holding the item and typing: "/cast bind <spellname>".
For ex: "/cast bind holyremedy" if I were holding an apple would allow me to use the apple to cast Holy Remedy.

Ability List:
- Golden Attunement (Passive): The Paladin has increased damage with Golden weaponry, increased golden armor durability (above Iron but below Diamond), and increased damage reduction/protection nearing that of Diamond Armor.
- Weapon restrictions: Can only use golden weapony (Golden Sword). Cannot use bows.
- (Spell) Hand of Light: This spell heals the Paladin's target for 7 hearts of health.
- Cooldown of 10 seconds, 20 range, 1 redstone dust cost.
- (Spell) Holy Remedy: This spell, when cast, will heal the Paladin for 5 hearts of health.
- Cooldown of 20 seconds, 1 redstone dust cost.
- (Spell) Holy Shield: This spell will protect the Paladin completely, ignoring all damage taken (100% invulnerability) for a short duration of 7 seconds.
- Cooldown of 10 minutes.
