Hello reader, Finstaaa again this time bring you a sort of different guide. A lot of the time I get questions like this one:
In this case this player is asking what the abbreviation " nvm " meant. I get asked stuff like this all the time and I thought it would be nice if I could link people to a new guide for more information. In this guide I will cover the terms " idk, afk , nvm and pl0x "
===================================================================================
Abbreviations
So first off is the term " idk ". This one is fairly simple and means the words " I don't know ". So if anyone asks you something that you don't know the answer to, you have the choice to type "idk" instead.
Next one is also simple to remember and is " nvm " which closely resembles what it actually means which is " never mind". This is easy to remember and it is easier to type out 3 letters instead of 9.
The last abbreviation I will cover is " AFK ". This one is a little more tricky as it can either mean " away from keyboard " or it can mean " away from control ". I think that it originally started off with means " away from control " however was adapted to suit gamers. Being " AFK " usually means that you can still see what is going on in the game but you are unable to act upon anything. Admins+ on the server can actually use the command " /afk " to show they are inactive for a few minutes. An alternative for " AFK " is to say " brb ", this means that you are actually away from your monitor and cannot act upon game changes.
1337 Speak
In fact there is actually only one abbreviation that I know from 1337 speak and that is " plox / pl0x ". To be honest I don't use this but I can think of a number of people who do. " plox " generally means " please " and is used instead of that word. The other variation to it is " pl0x " which means the same thing, but they added the extra " 0 " to be annoying
QUICK FIRE ROUND!
lol : Laugh Out Loud
rofl: Rolling On the Floor Laughing
rolfmao: Rolling On Floor Laughing My Ass Off
lmaoshmsfoaidmt: Laughing My Ass Off So Hard My Sombrero Fell Off And I Dropped My Taco
wtf: What The F**k
wth: What The Heck
stfu: Shut The F**k Up
gtfo: Get The F**k Out / Get The F**k Off
==================================================================================
Hope this helped new players, and also others if they are having difficulties understanding abbreviations.
