EnLight's Guide to PvP and Making Money Want to know how I made 200k without emperor, duping, abusing exploits, 100% legit? You came to the right place!
This guide revolves around the paladin, but other classes are viable as well. This is more of a money making guide, rather than a PvP guide, although there are some tips and tricks for PvP in it. DISCLAIMER: This guide isnt for every minecraft player, and some of you will fail trying it.
What you need
The Beginning
Let's begin our adventure by voting (CLICK ME TO VOTE) which will net you around 800 gold, depending on what the admins set the amount to. Do this everyday. Not only does it give you and awesome amount of gold, it also helps the server! The way I see it as voting = more players = more people to kill = more loot = more $$$
With this ~800 gold, buy some gold blocks/redstone/food in trade town. Put these gold blocks in your little crafting table and turn them into ingots, then turn those ingots into golden armor, a sword, and a shovel. You should be all set for pvp.
Ways of the Paladin
Now that we have our gear, we want to find a party. If you hang out in the portal room or ask in general chat, you can quickly find a few people to help you pvp. Everyone knows there isnt too much to pvp in minecraft, especially as a paladin. All you have to remember is click very fast and keep that crosshair on your enemy at all times. Even if you die, the person that killed you gets loot that is nearly useless to them, unless they are also a paladin. You can easily get gold blocks in quests and from voting. So if you kill, you get loot; you get killed, not too much lost (unless your gear was enchanted, then it sucks)! As a paladin, you have three spells at your disposal;
Now what?
So now you're asking, "I've got all this gear from people i've killed since im a badass paladin, what do I do with it?" Hoard it. Hoard all of the iron armor, diamond armor, weapons, everything. Here's where your shop comes in. Create a shop selling all of these items, for a generally cheap price. Diamond swords will probably be your main money maker, since nearly every class needs one to do damage.
One problem with this is that you can't sell any gear that is even 1% damaged. "How am I supposed to sell this gear if it's nearly broken because I kicked their ass so hard?" is what you're probably asking. To solve this, put two of the same item in your crafting table and they will combine durabilities, hopefully reaching the point where they aren't scratched at all and can be sold. You will have to play with the prices at which you sell them, but once you find that sweet spot you will start raking in the cash. Here's an example of how to do so:

- PvP Skills

- A PvP class with cheap armor (Paladin/Marksman/Assassin)
- Trader (Optional if you dont have a shop)

So if you kill, you get loot; you get killed, not too much lost (unless your gear was enchanted, then it sucks)! As a paladin, you have three spells at your disposal;
- Hand of Light - Heal an ally for 5(?) hearts. This skill can be both a life saver for your buddies, or completely screw you over. Sometimes this spell will target an enemy and heal them instead, you gotta be a bit careful with it.
- Holy Remedy - Heal yourself for 5(?) hearts. This spell is a godsend, and has a relatively short cooldown for how tanky you are. Just switch to your shovel and left click whenever you get low on hp.
- Holy Shield - Shield yourself from all incoming damage for 5(?) seconds. This spell is what seperates good paladins from bad paladins. Don't pop this as soon as you enter a fight. Ideally, you want to cast this spell as soon as you get an enemy trapped in a corner, so they cant escape. Just cast it, and click as much as you can and dont let them leave that corner. If you get this combo in, you won your fight, gg. Right before Holy Shield goes on cooldown, right click three times to get to Holy Remedy so you dont have to switch while you're being hit. Here's a video of all this in action: It's hard to see, but at about 0:05-0:06 I switch to my shovel for a split second to cast holy shield, then the massacre began. Usually after this they will cry in general chat, usually screaming "HACKER" or "WTF"

Other Options
- Trader - This is a great PvE class that can be used to sweeten this tactic out. You can auction off all of your enchanted swords and armor that you usually cant sell in your shop. You will also need this to sell any of the items if you havent donated for at least a shop in build world. Another alternative is to simply announce you are selling whatever items in trade chat by typing /ch join t.
- Another great way of making money is buying and selling diamonds. In trade chat, announce that you are buying diamonds and diamond ores (if you have a fortune pick). Just make sure whatever you buy diamonds for, you sell higher of course
