The Archmage class is a Tier 2 class, which is currently as high a class as you can get in Savage Realms. The Archmage is regularly seen as the hardest class to play effectively, due to the nature of spell casting in Minecraft. Without hotkeys, cycling between spells is seen as tedious and frustrating when in the heat of a battle. The Mage and Archmage can bind spells to certain items, requiring only a switch to the item and a left click to cast it. This helps make the user a bit more agile when it comes to using the multitude of spells at the Mages disposal.
Class Note: You can cycle through your spell list by right clicking with a Wooden Sword.
Class Note: You can bind your spells to an item by holding the item and typing: "/cast bind <spellname>".
For ex: "/cast bind blink" if I were holding an apple would allow me to use the apple to cast blink.

- Mage Inheritance (Passive): Grants the Archmage all of the Mage (Tier One) abilities.
- (Spell) Flame Walk: When activated, this spell puts a periodic (pulsing) fire tick about 6-8 blocks outward from the Archmage. Any players nearby when the tick occurs are lit on fire for a very short duration. Lasts about 2 minutes.pulsing every 3 seconds.
- Cooldown 30 seconds. 1 redstone dust & 1 coal casting cost. 1 redstone consumed every tick for the duration.
- (Spell) Fireball: This spell shoots a large, high damage ball of flame at a target. Can be repelled/bounced back at the caster if the target attacks it with a sword.
- Cooldown 15 seconds. 30 range. 2 redstone dust & 2 coal casting cost.
- (Spell) Conjure: This conjures a random batch of potions at the casters feet.
- Cooldown on server restart. No cost.
- (Spell) Combust: Sets the caster's target on fire for a 5 tick duration.
- Cooldown 15 seconds. 20 range. 1 redstone & 1 coal cost.
- (Spell) Pain: Deals immediate 3 heart damage to the target (through armor) but also a shared 2.5 damage to the caster.
- Cooldown 12 seconds. 15 range. 1 redstone dust & 2.5 hearts cost.
- (Spell) Cripple: Greatly slows and skews the viewing perspective of the caster's target for a short duration.
- Cooldown 15 seconds. 20 range. 2 redstone dust cost.
- (Spell) Force Push: This spell pushes away all nearby players/enemies in a cone in front of the caster.
- Cooldown 10 seconds. 10 range. 2 redstone dust cost.
